Ferrari racer Charles Leclerc will miss Formula 1’s media day for the 2025 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola due to feeling unwell, as confirmed by the team. In a social media statement, Ferrari announced Leclerc’s absence from the track and media obligations on Thursday. Leclerc is expected to rest and focus on recovery, with plans to return to the car on Friday. Details on the cause of his illness were not disclosed by Ferrari. Leclerc’s first appearance at Imola will now be before Friday’s practice session. Ferrari aims for a better performance in Imola with Leclerc and debuts its first 2025 upgrades at this race, with further enhancements scheduled for the Spanish Grand Prix. Leclerc’s absence from media day coincides with Max Verstappen’s decision to skip media duties at the Miami Grand Prix to spend time with his family.
